From the Boer War and the Western Front, Tobruk and Kokoda to Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan, Indigenous Australians have proudly served in every conflict and commitment involving Australian defence contingents since Federation.
The evocative coin design is based on the painting Indigenous Military Service by Kalkadoon artist Chern’ee Sutton.
